Visit Jane's blog site to hear news of her latest mission trip to Guatemala.

My husband, Joe, retired from his position as Budget and Management Director for Forsyth County in October, 2009 and now is able to help full-time with Evelyn's Baskets. Even while Joe and I are home in Winston Salem, missionaries and friends in Guatemala continue to help babies born with cleft lip/palate with the resources that Evelyn's Baskets has generated.
The news of Evelyn's Baskets is spreading throughout Guatemala - by word of mouth, through the informational posters we distributed in the smaller communities during my last visit in August, 2009, and by the medical personel in the clinics we have visited. Reports of babies receiving help through our mission are coming to me from several sources, and we rejoice with each message! We hear often from Felix Satizo, a champion of our cause, as well as Lloyd, Melanie, Hector and Estralla (Porch de Salomon), and Sheri Kretzschmar, with Health Talents International.
